Cyanotype Exploration

The cyanotype method contains little emotion requiring just computer manipulation and digital printing and then strict following of processes. I began to ask myself how I could give control to my hands instead of the process. I needed to draw with light so I made a stick attached to many strings which would be complicated to manipulate. This would give me the lack of control necessary to embody myself in the work. These images are records of my actions as the cyanotype was being exposed.
